Michael Arden to Direct Stephen Sondheim’s “Merrily We Roll Along” Next - Broadway.com

The Tony-nominated director of Deaf West Spring Awakening will return to LA’s The Wallis (DWSA’s pre-Broadway home) to direct Stephen Sondheim and George Furth’s musical Merrily We Roll Along (in which Lin-Manuel Miranda starred in a recent ‘Encores’ revival) and Alexi Kaye Campbell’s play The Pride (which starred Hugh Dancy and Ben Whishaw off-Broadway).

Also on tap is a staging of Edward Albee’s At Home at the Zoo from Deaf West Theatre, directed by Arden’s friend (and the one who made DWSA happen) Coy Middlebrook
